John Gurley, M.D.

Dr John Gurley | Ophthalmologist Manchester MA | Gloucester MADr. Gurley has been in private practice for over 28 years, with the last 24 years as an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and complete eye care for the entire family. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Gurley is a member in good standing with the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the New England Ophthalmological Society, and The American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been a teacher for the American Academy of Family Physicians.

 

Michael Piacentini, M.D.

Dr Michael Piacentini | Ophthalmologist Manchester MA | Gloucester MADr. Piacentini is board certified in Ophthalmology. He received both his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He did his ophthalmology training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he was chief resident in ophthalmology. He took an Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Fellowship at McGill University in Montreal. Dr. Piacentini provides medical ophthalmology for the entire family.

 

Emma Massicotte, M.D.

Dr Emma Massicotte | Ophthalmologist Manchester MA | Gloucester MADr. Massicotte is a graduate of the New England Eye Center - Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston, MA, ranked as one of the top ophthalmology programs in the country, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is offering routine eye care, as well as medical and surgical care for glaucoma, cataracts and other eye problems.

 

 

Tanner Brown, M.D.

Tanner Brown I Gurley Eye Care AssociatesTanner Brown is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist at Gurley Eye Care Associates in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. He went to Johns Hopkins University for his undergraduate education, where he received his BA in Behavioral Biology and was captain of the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team. He completed his medical degree at McGovern Medical School in Houston and an Internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. From there, he completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Maryland, where he gained proficiency in diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions. He is interested in all aspects of comprehensive eye care including evaluation and treatment of cataracts and glaucoma. He treats adults only and currently does not offer telehealth services.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brown enjoys playing tennis, golf, and hiking. He also treasures quality time spent with his wife, Charlotte, and their dog, Wilson.
